Re: Anyone had this issue - Parking Brake Fault

Thanks for the replies, no issue this morning so must have been some sort of glitch.

Anyone had this issue - Parking Brake Fault

Another Gremlin, anyone had this one? Pulled up in a parking space, gearbox to park, needed to move forward so went into drive and then park again. This caused a fault with the parking brake. Brake warning amber light comes on and the red parking brake light flashing. Then I get an error message par...

Re: Some pics of first road trip

Great pics, I do like Indus Silver really suits the F-Pace.

Re: Software Updates (OtA)

Can’t help but think that they should just concentrate on getting the ICTP system stable and rolled out consistently before adding more features.

Most owners will be running and living with out of date versions of the software as updating it is such a time consuming and painful process.

Re: SIM cards

I guess you could just activate the mobile hotspot on your phone. As long as it’s connecyted via Bluetooth the ICTP will use that for internet connectivity. Suppose it depends what data plan you have on your phone but it’s an easy option.

Re: SIM cards

Mine is stilling working as before (I.e. intermittently because the ICTP is crap). No sign of issues on other jLR forums either where lots of people use them. Not sure why Three would be bothered about people using it in cars, maybe the roaming causes an issue. Anyway let’s see what happens, annoyin...

Re: SIM cards

It will be a massive PITA if that’s what they do across the board. My SIM expires end of Jan and so have been looking around. My memory have an EE 12gb data sim for £27 but the data only lasts 6 months.

Re: SIM cards

Apologies if an obvious question but was the roaming in the connectivity menu enabled - under connectivity then mobile data. I guess it must be if the o2 card worked.

Re: Phone only connects as media device

It’s a 5 minute job so If the sales guy took half an hour I’d say he was probably out of his depth especially as a Pixel isn’t a common phone. Have you tried deleting the connected device and adding it again - as part of the process it should ask what you want to use the device connection for e.g. p...

Petrol or hybrid??
My wife has an XC60, nice enough inside but very dull to drive. Also had a complete electrical meltdown after 2 months of ownership. Its looking like either an X5 or A7 for me next as long as they don’t have a 10% WTO tariff...
