Re: Tyre pressure warning

Thanks. I've regularly checked the pressures via the Information Menu since I got the car about 4 months ago and they've always been OK. I've never confirmed the pressures with an external gauge so perhaps I should.

Re: Tyre pressure warning

Thanks for that. I'm not one of those who never RTFM but I didn't this time.

It still seems rather strange to me that outside temperatures can trigger the warning on a perfectly normal day but I'm not technical so what do I know? Anyway, the warning hasn't come up again and no harm was done.

Tyre pressure warning

Last Tuesday I was driving at a steady 70-75 mph along the M4, returning home from visiting my daughter in Wales. After about an hour an alert appeared in the Message Centre, 'Check all tyre pressures', accompanied by the warning triangle and tyre warning orange lights. The message disappeared after...

It might come down to that to be honest.
Then you risk going through the whole frustrating business again!

A bit of polite but firm table banging and persistence would be best, I think.

Big Brother

I've just received a new credit card from my bank and, lo and behold, it's exactly the same colour as my recently purchased F-Pace. I think it's very thoughtful of the bank to take the trouble to find out the colour of the car and then co-ordinate the card with it but, at the same time, I think it's...

Re: Prestige 20D AWD Auto

Whilst powerfold mirrors are included in the optional Memory Pack, they are standard on the Portfolio and 'S' (without the memory) and available as a separate option on the Prestige and R-Sport. Speed camera alerts are only available with ICT Pro. The standard features and options list is a real min...

Re: Age Before Beauty, BBC1

Yes, I noticed that. There weren't any long, lingering shots of the car but it was an 'S' model because the wheels were the standard 20" and on the interior shots the 'S' embossing on the headrests could be seen.

I'm not sure yet about the series itself but I'll watch again tonight.

Re: TDI Tuning Box CRTD4

Sounds good but don't forget to tell your Insurers that the car has been modified!

Re: New to the forum - advice needed

I changed my 180 bhp R-Sport for a 3.0 diesel a couple of months ago and don't regret it. Circumstances have dictated that I haven't been able to drive it as much as I would have liked but yesterday, after a couple of weeks away without driving at all, I took it for a 50 mile spin just for fun which...
