Re: Floor Mats

I wanted a set of mats to put on top of and protect the OEMs but I don't like the rubber ones. Halfords do a set which are, apart from the backing, identical in fit, colour, appearance and quality to the originals and I've been very happy with them. They cost £44.99 but, unfortunately, I can't remem...

Re: Does anyone use kickdown?

After reading your replies I tried kickdown yesterday on a straight road with no traffic. It certainly worked - from 30 mph to 70 seemed to take only the blink of an eye and the acceleration was so rapid that I didn't have time to tell how many gears it dropped. As has been said, though, there is so...

Does anyone use kickdown?

Just curious as per the question. Kickdown has, of course, always been a feature of auto gearboxes but now we have dynamic , sport and sport + dynamic modes, not to mention the paddles. To me, all these options make kickdown redundant but am I the only one who has never used it on the F-Pace?

Re: Your courtesy car today is .....

Not too long ago I posted a positive review of the excellent treatment I received from my local independent Jag dealer when my car was in for service. I was given their usual courtesy car which is a little VW Up.Obviously it was a totally different driving experience from my F-Pace but it was quite ...

And one of the screens on the Driver Information display tells you how many miles to go before it needs topping up.

Re: 25t petrol engine slight engine knock while accelerating

I agree with all the above comments regarding the 3.0 DS which reflect my own experience. Yes, don't forget that the outside temperature has an effect on fuel consumption, whether the engine is petrol or diesel, particularly on shorter journeys in cold weather when the warming up period represents a...
