Re: Scottish Borders - Change in Dealership (Again)

I have been running Jags for over 7 years now and have had excellent service from Lloyds in Carlisle and Taggarts in Glasgow. Both now have excellent state of the art premises.

Re: New F Pace on its way...which diesel fuel?

I always use cheapest and have clocked up over 200,000 mls on successive XF's (3.0D V6) and now at 26,000 on my F-Pace without issue (touch wood).
So can only conclude that Jaguar Diesels are quite happy with cheap stuff!

Re: Six month anniversary

18 months of motoring bliss. FAB U LUS! Great looks, excellent performance, joy to drive, great customer service. Some minor issues but effortlessly dealt with by my Jaguar dealership. What more can I say other than if your thinking about investing - don't hesitate!

Re: AEB first experience

I experienced for first time myself recently driving at 50mph in steady traffic with what I thought was adequate braking distance when car in front braked suddenly, I applied heavy pressure to the brakes the brakes and got a hell of a fright when the AEB came on! Doesn't half work though and I was l...

Re: Washer Fluid Level Alert (Jag remote app only)

Sorry to say but you only get a Washer Fluid low level warning on the dash on certain models! Although my Remote app used to refer to it as being OK it wasn't actually linked to the fluid level in the car ie when the remote was saying OK the Washer Fluid was actually empty. My prestige doesn't have ...

Re: European driving queries

Hi KeithL, We took ours to France last year - no need to adjust or add stickers to lights as commented above. Sat Nav worked great and took us right to our campsite gate albeit you have to be ready for some detours down country roads (typical sat nav instructions)! Advice would be that if it doesn't...

Re: The dangers of over reading

Just love my FPace and now clocked up > 20,000mls trouble free. Looks the best and performs the best. A lot of the issues quoted on the forum are down to very poor dealership customer service. Can't speak highly enough about Taggarts in Glasgow and Lloyds in Carlisle who both go the extra mile to ke...
