Re: Water next to rear window

Just a thought but could it be a leak in your rear window washer pipe? Maybe try washing your rear window and see if any drips appear?

Re: New member, new future owner

My F-Pace 2.0D is coming up on 4 years and 52,000mls of trouble free motoring. Love it so much that I have also just ordered a RSport D200 MHEV for delivery in March from Glasgow dealership. I spec'd the new car and got a trade in value for my existing F-Pace online which was a very easy process the...

Re: All Season Tyres

Michelin All Seasons = great tyres. Now done 20K on mine and very little signs of wear. Very quiet and appear to be good in winter although not fully tested yet due to COVID restrictions!

Excellent choice! I fitted the same tyres via Black Circles 20K miles ago and still showing minimal wear. They are very quiet and grip well under all conditions.

Re: Engine failure, no warranty, no oil warning light, disappointed

Have you been checking the oil level between services? The 2.0L Diesel engines do use (burn) oil and need to be topped up!

Re: Jacking

I just positioned my Trolley Jack under the Sills in line with the Screw Jack positions. Car lifted fine with no damage to underbody.

3.5 years and 50,000 mls - no problem with mine and easy to clean!

Re: Low oil level

The 2.0L Diesel burns oil and therefore has to be checked and topped up regularly. I typically have to add 1 x litre of oil between services (22,000mls) having done around 49,000mls.

Re: Rear discs corroded

All modern cars discs wear disproportionately. I've experienced on Mercs, BMW and Porche. Best advice is to run until the pad wear warning light comes on and replace discs and pads at the same time.
