Re: Is it possible to get an F-Pace with memory seats?

It was an expensive option on earlier S models but they came as standard with 14 way electric seats. The memory option which includes auto dipping mirrors and 18 way seats (from memory) was over a £1000 option when I got mine. I have never missed it as I drive the car mostly. Lumbar adjustment also ...

Re: How often must car be driving to clear DPF?

I agree it is the type of use. If the car is getting longer journeys regularly and short journey use is limited then it will be OK. Pretty similar to me in many respects. Suburban driving and trips to the countryside for dog walking at weekends followed by occasional longer journeys. Mine has called...

Re: How often must car be driving to clear DPF?

I would say forget it if you are doing mainly city driving and short stop start journeys. You will end up with very short variable service intervals and high oil dilution building up as the engine starts multiple DPF cleaning cycles but doesnt complete them and the fuel sent to burn off soot is unus...

Re: Bilt Hamber Autofoam

I didn't quite believe the result myself. The bodywork just needs a quick wash and some detailer. I am using Sonax Extreme for that and it beads water like crazy and lasts for ages, more like a sealant than detailer. Wheels are virtually Teflon coated. I have Gtechniq C5 wheel armour on them topped ...

Bilt Hamber Autofoam

Thought you might be interested in a recent mini experiment I have made with Auto Foam. I have tried a lot of foams on the market and have been really disappointed by their cleaning ability, still getting lots of dirt off when it comes to the wash stage with two buckets....sometimes needing to chang...

Re: 1st Jag & Alloy Wheel Insurance question

I have had both. Revive did a small repair which was sprayed and although good, you could still feel and see the texture was different to the sprayed paint. When that wheel was damaged again I opted for powder coating and the results were first class. Its inevitable they will get scuffed as kerbs ar...

Re: My new leather cover key case

Now then kids, play nicely  I think it was Henry Ford who said "You can have it in any colour as long as its black" referring to the Model T. So, the original mass produced colour was black. It came with black wheels as well :o On the leather key fob covers I don't think they look that bad but ...

Re: Bodyshop / Ding repair West London

To he honest even if you take it to a Jaguar body shop they will contract the work out to a specialist body shop as they simply don't have the skills. I had my wheels repaired at the Wheel Specialist and it is used by Aston Martin, BMW and other local dealerships for powder coating damaged wheels. S...

Re: Which engine.....diesel 240hp or petrol 250hp?

Not sure about 250hp diesel. 3.0 diesel is quicker by about a second to 60mph but it also feels very powerful mid range due to the staggering amount of torque - 700nm - roughly the same as that produced by the SVR V8. It's still only 300 bhp though. There is turbo lag though which you get used to bu...
