Re: Add blue problem

Over filled tank? Or dodgy Adblue sensor? Adblue is Adblue and Jaguar Adblue is the Emperors clothes. It all has to adhere to a standard specification to use the Adblue trademark

Re: Stolen F Pace - Tracker App still working

If its a stolen to order theft by professionals they will park the car somewhere quiet and wait and see if anyone comes for it as they are aware of trackers. Alternately they have a container nearby and its parked inside blocking the signal and rapidly on the next ship out of the UK and heading for ...

Re: New to the Jag Club -Help

Electric mirrors and seats depend on the model and what you specified in options. My S comes with folding mirrors and 14 way electric seats for example but not lumbar support. I had to specify that as an extra or upgrade to 18 ways seats. Always getting you to part with your cash in as many ways as ...

Re: Exhaust Filter ‘Full’

Yes you are right. The oil change is just a consequence/precaution as I don't think the F Pace measures % of oil dilution. The variable service interval is determined by driving style and number of starts. Not sure how they actually clear a blocked DPF but once you get the red light, a mechanical in...

Re: Exhaust Filter ‘Full’

You probably have pretty severe oil dilution due to incomplete combustion in the diesel particulate filter and hence need for oil change. Lots of interrupted DPF regeneration cycles caused by predominantly short journeys and stop start motoring has caused the blockage. Extra fuel is injected into th...

Re: Rear discs corroded

I've got 20,000 miles after two years and whilst not perfect (there is some corrosion to edges) face of the disks is pretty clean. Clearly, quality is variable. My partners Mini has completely clean disks with no corrosion visible and it's a 2016. We did have a metalurgist on here explain the differ...

Re: paddles

The 3.0d has so much torque it accelerates rapidly in every gear so I hardly use the paddles. Dropping down a gear or two manually takes the same amount of time as the turbo lag so I just plant the throttle and hang on. I tend to use the paddles when I get a nice, twisty A or B road section and I am...

Re: To buy or not to buy (end of 3 years)

Love my car but if I was choosing now it would have to be electric. Next car will be electric.

Re: Reasons why you order the spare wheel...

I've got 4 spare 22 inch wheels with Winter tyres on them at home! Overkill perhaps but the wheels came off ebay, sold by two Jaguar dealers - past their sell by date? Not sure why dealers do that but they were 60% off but brand new with 2017 manufacture date. I also have a skinny spare and jack and...

Re: Reasons why you order the spare wheel...

Wheels and jack with tray sometimes pop up on ebay but not seen any flat floor covers.
