Re: Door Mirror Camera

All fixed, new door mirror camera fitted .... would have been £307.43 if it wasn't under warranty

Re: Brake wear

At 7,000 miles and just over a year old, you should be on the original tyres. Have a look at the 4 digits in the oval box on the side walls, they should all be the same date plus or minus a week or two, so I would expect to see something like {0618} which would indicate they were made week 6 of 2018...

Re: Front bumper 02T4A5646LML in place of T4A5644LML

I'm pretty certain the only difference is if you have park assist or not.

T4A5646LML will have an additional two sensor holes just forward of the front wheels on each side for the sideways pointing Park Assist sensors. T4A5644LML will not have these.

Door Mirror Camera

Hi All, Car is just coming up to a year old, I had a neaside door mirror camera 'fail' a few months back, it was just looking at the side of the car rather than at the front wheel, this was replaced under warranty and all was well. Now I have exactly the same problem appear on the offside, so it wil...

Re: Follow Mode - Adaptive Cruise Control

From memory, mine seems to work from about 20 mph as Guy says, but if I've used Cruise previously on the same journey then hit traffic, I just need to be moving at a few mph then press reset and it all starts working in queue assist mode..... I think....

Re: Auto retract Tow Bar. Alko suitability.

I've got the electric deployable towbar and use an Alko hitch, all works absolutely fine, (plenty of clearance etc), and the good news is it all comes fully wired as well, not just the standard road lights like many German brands come equipped with......so you get the full battery charging / fridge ...

Re: Black 20inch Blades or Venoms?

There is no right or wrong answer on this one, all a matter of chioce..... Assuming they are both the same price which I think they probably are, then a couple of things to consider:- 1) The blades will be easier to keep clean, as half as many spokes and better access inside the rim. 2) If you like ...

Re: electric trailer connector (plug) makes noise after stopping the car

That's interesting Bergand, I also get what can only be described as faint fairly rapid 'parking sensor' type beeping for about 10 or 15 seconds or so after I switch the car off. As far as I can tell it is coming from under the off side rear wheel arch (fuel filler side). I posted about it in one of...

Re: Quiet beeping after stopping and shutting off the engine

just resurrecting a two year old post so apologies, but it seems to match what I've found...... I've recently noticed that I can hear a faint beeping... (like a parking sensor about 18" from a wall)..... coming from the offside rear wheel arch after I've turned off and got out of the car, seems to g...
