My Final Post

For personal reasons, which I have no intention of going into, I have decided to leave this forum. I didn't want to just slope off into the abyss though as that would just be rude (unless you're very drunk at a party and then sometimes it's maybe the best thing to do to save further embarrassment!!)...

Re: Web Browser

Yep loads of useless features in this car that only work when stationary. Next weekend I’m taking the whole family to sit on the driveway and what frozen on dvd. Such a pointless feature! You've clearly never been shopping with my wife - I'd happily shot there and watch several DVD's whilst she's d...

Our car keys are all hung up in a metal key cabinet - just to be on the safe side. It's basically a very simple Faraday cage.

Re: F-Pace performance in Winter & car seat recommendations please!

Mike72uk - Your going to love the Pirelli Scorpions. The only thing is, because they grip and perform so well on dicey roadways, there can be a tendency to allow your speed to creep up more than it should. Keep that in mind. There is no panacea for hard-pan packed snow and/or ice if one is moving t...

Re: IOS 11.0.2 and ICTP...anyone elses totally screwed ?

F-Obsessed - 2 questions (one car related one not) Car related: Do you have ICT or ICTP? I have the basic ICT and have't encountered ANY of the issues others have reported with ICTP, with any of my upgrades. The text messaging was fun at first, but as soon as you work out it's the phone that needs c...

Re: Car in for warranty work

To all the comments on the wiper jets: I, too, thought that there was something not right with the angle of the water jets hitting the windshield. I researched this a little and found out that apparently, that's the way they were specifically designed to operate. When the vehicle is in motion, usin...

Re: Drivers Door Armrest

All my previous Land Rover cars were spot on for armrests which is probably why I notice the issue in the FP! Ditto - One of the real plus points of the Land Rover products was the 'Command' driving position they used. They seem to be moving away from this and making their vehicles more 'car-like' ...

Re: ITCP/Connect Technophobe help

I can’t really help with Samsung and the car cos I’m from that camp with the fruit, but you certainky wont get Cortana with the Samsung as it’s a Windows phone feature, nothing to do with the car. Android use Google Assistant instead. I believe you can get the Cortana app from the Google Store, but ...
