Re: SVR Options Advice

Fair point. (Luckily I bought my VXR8 at 2 yrs old, and sold it at 7yrs old with another 30k miles on the clock for £100 less than I paid. Not a typo - one hundred pounds depreciation and other than fuel - very cheap to run 8-) ).

Re: SVR Options Advice

MPG is rarely NOT a consideration. I had a VXR8 before my current car, 6.2 V8 so it was thirsty. I dont do many miles though, so I was always happy to accept 18mpg average for what it gave me. If i still had the 45mile commute I've had in previous jobs, it woukd not have been viable. We hired an e-t...

Re: SVR Options Advice

In your journey history you should be able to see what mpg you got for that trip. (Assuming you have it activated of course)

Re: Two flat

Looks like they got a hole in one, and sliced the other? Must be glad it wasn't all fore of them. Wonder if they swerved to avoid a birdie? Certainly looks a sorry state par-ked up like that.

Re: Cracked sunroof

Back seats are not stressed so them being down wont make a difference. I'd say a sliding pano roof is a sunroof. A fixed pano roof is a pano roof. Both will be covered by your insurance if it is accident damage - the difference being whether they cover it in the specific glass section (which I think...

Re: 22 wheels with 300 Sport

Everyoone has different desires and sensitivities - best thing to do is drive one on each wheel size and make your own mind up. (For what it is worth, we tried a car on 20"s which had a softer edge to the ride, but also had a layer of "sproing" to the ride and steering response that wasnt present on...

Re: Parking Brake on steep driveway

One of the reasons I am not keen on electronic handbrakes is that they apply the same force wherever you are. Which means the system assumes you might be on a 45Deg slope and applies the brake hard.

Which will suit your needs perfectly. :)

Re: Two jags

Great combination! I am in the market for some slightly more off-road-capable tyres but the choice is very limited for 20 inchers. Not something I ever went after, it might be Worth asking on the Disco3/4 forum? 255/50/20 is a std size for the big discos. Pirelli Scorpions are oem and a “do it all”...
