OMG do we really need apps warning lights etc to tell us washer level is low. Its simple when you wash your car , top water bottle up! How did we manage less than a decade ago, or am I just an old git??? :lol:

:o Like I said, car was in a car park, switched off for 5 mins or more. :o Like I said, car was in a car park, switched off for 5 mins or more. Auto start is first thing I turn off on starting the car, so that was switched off defo.

Only person who could remote start it was me and my phone was in arm rest cubby hole. It actually did it for a third time today, again parked in a car park , me inside and not touching anything. Perhaps dealer visit in the offing soon. :shock:

Not had this, but have had engine start twice on its own that's without touching button, or feet on any pedals when the car was parked and me still inside. :o

Work for Tata ( Previously British Steel and Corus ) with 42 years in Metallurgy and Quality Control areas. So yes I really do know what I'm talking about. :D

On my last service Jaguar called me into the workshop to report brake disc corrosion on fronts. I explained I was a Tata Steel Metallurgist and had an extensive knowledge of Steel, Cast Iron and Corrosion and was very concerned about Jaguar discs and longevity. Factory fortnight shutdowns are primarily aimed at renewal and maintenance of production lines. In my experience working for Tata, it is usually an excellent time of year to catch up on warehousing/ delivery items and clear the decks for the next restart of production.
