Re: Upgrade to phase 4 or wait a bit ?

Is it just me or does that screen look ugly now? I think it’s ugly too , part of my reluctance to upgrade tbh. Along with the fact everything else works fine. I like the old graphics, the old red telephone box etc gives it character.I don’t have a slow boot issue on the latest 3.5 version , it’s in...

Re: wax after 7 months or polish plus protect or nothing...

That’s the main disadvantage to any ceramiccoating. It’s a pain to fix even the most minor scratch. You can just polish out a scratch and re-wax. Any polishing will remove the coating and when you try and reapply you get an obvious patch. So you have to do the whole panel. Gets even worse if it’s on...

Why didn’t you ask to speak with the dealer principal and give them feedback on their sales staff?

But honestly just go to a different dealer.

clay may well reveal some fine scratches in which case I will polish out with a DA polisher. Clay won’t just reveal some swirls, it’ll cause them as well. Never clay unless you’re going to polish as well. Menzerna 3800 brings JLR black paint up a treat as a finishing polish after compounding or a p...

I had 2 x FP’s and rejected both the first after six months the second after two weeks, to be fair the dealer and JLR finance were pretty good at resolving.

And here I am contemplating an I-pace, must be slightly deranged,
Well, the I-Pace isn't actually built by Jaguar :-)

Re: JLR You should be Ashamed

I discussed collecting my car that evening and was advised it wouldn’t effect my claim and to go ahead and collect. I collected my car and am waiting for CS to contact me. Collecting the car could harm your position in a rejection. Either the car isn't good enough, and you don't want it, so you lea...

Re: It's proving very hard to buy an F Pace

Get on www.carwow.com, spec what you want and let them take care of getting quotes from dealers. Then just buy from the cheapest over the phone. Funnily enough, I did that only a couple of hours ago, and the only one that has come through so far is from my local dealer! But the offer is for PCP fin...
