Re: Nice little gift from jaguar

Make sure you put a dab of copper slip on the threads before you install them. Otherwise you might find they're nicely welded to the expensive TPMS valves come next Spring.

Re: ICTP Patch '3'

I managed to get my XF (MY18) updated to Phase 3 today, after a little bit of a fight because they were adamant it had it already. Needed to cite Technical Bulletin JTB00593V3 "InControl Touch Pro Features May Not Function As Expected, Phase 3 Additional Updates - Pathfinder" and persuade them that ...

Re: M/Y 2018 ICTP “fix”

If one happened to have access to Topix, and one happened to download Technical Bulletin JTB00593V3 "InControl Touch Pro Features May Not Function As Expected, Phase 3 Additional Updates - Pathfinder" (https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topix/service/document/880899 ) then one might find that it applie...

Re: Options FAQ

What surprised me was the basic ICTP seems to come with an 80W 6 speaker system , is this a misprint for 180W? I suspect it's not a mis-print. You really are only getting the larger screen as standard. It's far from the previous 'Pro' system. I see on the configurator there are a couple of extra 'P...

Re: Options FAQ

just a quick (probably daft question), i cant see the digital dashboard in the configurator. Can anyone tell me how you add it or does it come automatically with ITCP. Thanks It does come automatically with ICTP. Be careful, this is no longer true as of model year '19. The 10in 'Pro' screen is stan...

Re: 360 surround camera

Just found a setting that turns the 360 view into landscape so the image is a bit bigger, and also at the same time a setting that shows the 360 view alongside the reversing camera. With the camera on the screen select settings>camera settings Good find! The landscape 360 view is a bit counter-intu...

Re: Post your Topix documents and downloads here...

Oh I know it happens. Just always remember it’s copyrighted content that JLR sell. So don’t be surprised if both the site and you get rapped over the knuckles for it.

Re: Post your Topix documents and downloads here...

Topix T&Cs state you can not reproduce material from Topix, so whilst it’s very useful, it’s asking to get your Topix account canned and have JLR pull all the content from here.

Re: Disappointed in presentation of my new car

Just to play devil’s advocate a little... are you absolutely sure the bonnet scratches where there in the showroom when you collected the car? Because they look just like stone chips to me, and your dealer will argue that they happened when you drove away. Sadly minor scratches (swirl marks) on the ...

Re: Pro Detailers: forum member recommendations

Ok, so not an F-Pace, but I had my XF detailed by Barry at Auto Detox in Cannock this last week. 60 hours of work, a multi-stage full paint correction followed by application of Gyeon Mohs+ quartz coating. Wheels off, corrected, and coated in Gyeon Rim along with the brake callipers. Highly, highly ...
