Re: F-Pace S 3.0 litre V6 Petrol, Test driven and I really want to buy.

I'd find a different dealer. Mine (Carrs Truro) was happy to always give me a lead time as they have the information regularly provided to them. Also, take no notice of lead times for other engine variants. A 3l petrol will take longer than any other variant according to my dealer as there are very ...

Any thoughts on the graphic showing the little Red Cross when selecting reverse?
The red X either means Reverse Traffic Detection isn't fitted. It would be an amber icon if disabled.

Muting the sat nav... when it's on, press on the icon in the bottom right of the map that looks like a little set of boxes. There's an option to mute on the next screen.

Re: New F pace choice....

Personally I'd get the auto, but that's because I've come to hate manual gearboxes these days :-) For normal road use, RWD will be fine too. I test drove the 180 diesel in the XF, and whilst it wasn't going to set the world on fire with performance, it was a perfectly fine engine in a big car. The F...

Re: Car Stolen!!

If you do have it you can see the certificate for it on the incontrol website online. You can view certificate. The tracker code on build is D44A Aye, I've got that listed on the Vista build sheet for the new (MY18) car, and not on the old one as I didn't spec it. Haven't got the certification yet,...

Re: Car Stolen!!

Pretty sure it’s the tracker. I also have ‘Perimeter /Volume Theft System’ listed on the new car (MY18) which I presume is the alarm. Interestly it’s not listed on the old (MY17)

Re: Car Stolen!!

If Jaguar are the same as Land Rover you can see this item on the vehicle documents on topix, stolen vehicle tracker appears even if the unit has not been subscribed to. I think this is probably added as at one time a thought process at JLR would permit people to subscribe at a later date. (I do al...

Re: Car Stolen!!

You could try jaguar customer services , they can also track the vehicle through the SOS sim in telematics and liase with the police . Also call the jaguar In Control Secure, number , even if not fitted. It usually needs the police to call Jaguar to permit this though. Sorry to hear that they are s...

Re: Can you believe this

It does happen. My car came with the wrong seats. The Vista sheet is the important one. This is the system that is used to build the cars and communicates spec with the factory. The other system is EnquiryMax, that's the financial system. Obviously your order needs to be correct on both, but it's th...

Re: SIM cards

Excuse an ignorant question but as a new F Pace owner why can't I just plug in my mobile phone and use the data on there rather than buying another Sim? I'm sure there is an obvious answer and I'm being lazy because I've not had time to read the manual yet so I'm obviously missing something. You can.
