Took a trip up the road over Holme Moss to Holmfirth, couldn't find anywhere to park and drove home again. Didn't want to leave her in a carpark!

Car looks great. Been good, bright weather this afternoon, at least in my part of Yorkshire it has, so hopefully you had a good day for having a first drive. Some nice views from up top.

 . . yeah, you'll probably ease up on the over-protective thing, once the new novelty wears off a bit, otherwise you're going to really struggle if you never want to park it up anywhere! Hopefully you enjoyed the drive though?

Welcome to 'the club' . . . looks like a corris R-Sport with black pack, but what interior and other options did you get with the spec?

Was fine at pick up. Took a while as the finance paperwork got fumbled, but I did end up getting both Oct and Nov discount packages, so got cash off from Oct and 1% lower finance from Nov, which ends up saving me around 5.5k I reckon..

I love the car so far, the improvement over the XTrail I swapped it for is night and day!

Congrats on the car Aperi, looks fantastic, I'm hopefully collecting mine week after next.

If you don't mind me asking, what finance rate did you get in the end ?

Regards
Mike

I know what you mean. Got brave and parked mine on "The Cut" next to Southwark station overnight on Saturday/Sunday! Had to keep checking the remote app to make sure everything was ok...and it was! Seemed like a better decision than some random NCP car park.

Flub!

"The Cut" is part of my daily commute Flub! .. would have been the same today had a train not derailed at Wimbledon necessitating a WAH day!

I guess so..you are in Borough Market if I recall. London Transport was properly f**ked this morning. No Bakerloo, District, Circle or H&L, plus your issue and another track failure on the overground. Made me wish I WFH as well.

Flub!

APR 5.9 / 5.77 % per annum for 37 months
was that through Jaguar Finance?

4.9% on my F Pace with Jaguar Finance (which is Lloyds/Black Horse)
3.3% on my Audi directly with Lloyds

Suggest anyone looking for finance takes a look at Lloyds group. Very competitive.
Annoying...my 5.5% is through Jag Finance (Black Horse) and even though Lloyds are offering vehicle finance at 3.5% online (so long as you have a current account with them for 3 months) they wouldn't shift any lower than the 5.5% (and I didn't have a lloyds account at the time - might be opening one soon and re-financing shortly !)

Yes sorry I should have said you need an account with a Lloyds group member to take advantage of the rate.

Yes sorry I should have said you need an account with a Lloyds group member to take advantage of the rate. It also took no time at all. About 15 minutes on the website and it was all done.
