Just wondering what dealer quoted build times are since lockdown?

I ordered maybe 2 weeks pre-lookdown but my order remained in the dealer pool (no build slot ) till after lockdown. my locked in date was 1st july, build date is early September with Delivery Late September. I'm fully prepared for the date to slip for obvious reasons.

I would either cancel the order 'undue delay' , or ask to move the slot to the new model !!

Otherwise you get a 'new' outdated car..

I ordered an F Pace 300 Sport at the end of May/beginning of June and have been told that it will arrive mid September.

I just bought now from existing stock and picking up on the 1st September to make sure that I didn't get the facelift. I'm not over keen on the twin displays and still like to have some traditional buttons on the dash.

Just had a called from the Dealer to provide an update. The car is on track to be delivered on Friday 4th September so should be ready w/c 6th September... I realise this date could slip either way of course!

You think the F-Pace gets the Velar interior as an 'upgrade' ?

My 2019 model already has 'twin' displays ; digital dash and infotainment. I really do not see the point of having both.
I can see the satnav in the instrumentcluster, so I then switch the central display off..

Hi Dan, not the Velar dash, the new XE dash.......
My Neighbour works for JLR and said that he would get me some images of the facelift which is due in September. I will post them as soon as I get them. &#x1f44d-1f3fb;

@PDC

I just configured a new XE to see what it looks like. I do not find the lower display disturbing,
this view appears in the upper screen in my F-Pace in the settings for the climate.

I do find the 'stick' a major improvement over the rotator..

The gear stick rotator coming up and the Jaguar pulse lighting is a real talking point to anyone who gets in my car. You get used to it very quickly rather than a gear stick. What is a pain and potential safety feature, is having to glance down to change driver mode buttons, hopefully an improved lay out for that in the near future.

The rotator is designed for RHD.. .. I can not see if its in 'D' or not. Need to lean over to look around the rotator.

Least thing would have been to make the position indicator visible in a display on top of the rotator.
Plus I hate the resistance to change from R/D and D/R.

I have that in my F-Type too, with the analog dash. In the FP I have a digital dash, didn't really notice it.
Maybe its the setup of the digital dash, I have to look into it..

I have in 'single dial' , and I just found today it does appear in the upper section..
