Picked up my 67 Ex Jag Mgt FPace last week and so far am delighted
3.0S, Firenze red with the pimento/ebony seats, cold pack, LED's, 350W, TFT, sliding roof and many other bits and pieces
All in all I'm delighted so far and am regularly looking out of the office window and staring at beauty (& I don't mean me in the reflection)
The positives are too many to mention and similar, I suspect, to many - so far the engine is a standout fit for this car. Couple of observations which I had not appreciated pre buying
1) The ICTP looks like it is a very early version. Whether its this or other things it has a few quirks eg
a) slow to boot up on cold mornings e.g. the rear view camera (which I need) therefore takes longer to kick in than anticipated
b) Using remote start is great (surprised heated seats not part of that but guess that's a "safety feature) but twice it has stopped when I opened the door and sat in the car
c) Using spotify - bit clunky to get there but love that its there ….and so far its worked flawlessly
d) Much more to learn on the ICTP side to see if/when I need to get later versions
2) Fitted a SIm this morning to get the traffic updates - was a bit surprised that it showed a lot less traffic issues than gmaps (at least I thought so) so will keep a watch out on that
3) A good news piece was that bought the alloy insurance through ALA yesterday for the 25% discount price - thanks already to the forum for the discount code and posts for that benefit - a lot less £££ than the jag offering - I owe someone a beer or two
onwards and upwards and hope to contribute in the future
