I'm moving over from the other side of JLR and can't wait to pick up my 3d S at the end of the month.
Looking forward to contributing to the forum!!

Welcome!, quite a lot of us on here have been tempted over from 'the other side' too . . . my previous was an Evoque coupe, which I loved, but I've not for one moment regretted being lured by the big cat :)

We will, of course, require picture evidence of your 'S' . . not too long to wait now, hope it all goes well for you. Feel free to ask or share thoughts, you'll find there's a lot of helpful and useful knowledge on here.

Thanks everyone!
Having had Range Rovers for 8 years it was time for a change.......
I had a 2d as a weekend demo but have found a 66 plate S, which should suit my caravan just fine.
It has everything i was looking for apart from a heated steering wheel, i'm sure i will manage :)

Yes indeed. I will wave as I drive by in a cloud of Adblue

Post some pics of your beast when you get it

I came over having had a full fat Range Rover and before that a couple of Range Rover Sports and a series of Freelanders. The FP is a different sort of car; you have to drive it, not waft along effortlessly. If I'm honest, the FP ( I have a 3.0 V6 diesel) is not a patch on the FFRR, but its at least £30K cheaper and still a nice car. But my next car will have a green oval badge.; I really miss the effortless luxury of a fully specced Rangey! I don't get the same special feeling every time I get into the FP, nice as it is.

Still not arrived yet.........
Hopefully end of this week, the dealer is dragging their heels with the prep.
I'm not that bothered as long as it is in A1 condition and all software updates have been done. ;)

Range Rover went on Friday, so i'm slumming it in the van!!

All set to pick up today.............

Just received a call, sorry but the new tow bar electrics aren't working, we need to order a new loom.

Also, they agreed to replace all four tyres, now they're saying the tyres are all within the AU tread depth parameters.
I replied no, you confirmed by email that you would replace the tyres, so please replace them!!

They will now update me on Monday.

Good news is, thanks to this forum, i insisted the Pro be updated to the latest software and it looks like i now have a crash helmet on the screen!!!
