Anyone got the full bulletin list of improvements and suggested fixes or when to use.
Taking mine in for service in the next month or so and might double it up if worthwhile.
Corrie is you car still in the garage !!?? Not great. I've had 9 months happy motoring now.
Been in for 3 weeks on Wednesday, but there was a gap of nearly 6 weeks since it was last there!..
ICTP 4.0 being loaded currently & if this doesn't fix it I may finally get a new unit.
If it doesn't work then I may swap it for an SVR... I think it's pot luck if the ICTP works faultlessly, so prepared to give it another go & keep all fingers crossed.
Apparently there is at least one SVR currently on the build schedule, whether that is a customer car or for promotions, who knows..
You can actually order one now, but I'd like to try a demonstrator first.
Anyway, I always fancied being a guinea pig.... Swanning around in a cage all day, with nothing to do but wait for more food...
It'll probably trash the systems that currently work, but hey ho, at least I'll be up to date...

I have just read a Top Gear review of the new RRS which mentions the RRS SVR having a fuel consumption of around 1 mpg at Autobahn speeds (yes that is 1 not 10). Hopefully the FPace SVR has a slightly larger fuel tank than the standard F Pace as I would imagine fuel use to be similar to the RRS SVR at those sorts of speeds....assuming you can find a long enough stretch Autobahn without speed restriction

You probably could get close to that with just the 3.0l & a seriously heavy foot! I believe the SVR has 16 gallon tank, for those extra 45 miles may be handy. The RRS SVR is a good 300kg heavier than F Pace, so hopefully it won't be quite so bad. My XKR is about 200kg lighter than F Pace and I get around 25mpg, which is better than the 3.0l
Back on thread, the latest & last 3.5 patch is a backward step on my boot up, audio & phone, so 4.0 is going on soon - they've done one car so far & no obvious hitches. After a year and a half, I'd like them to admit defeat & fit a new module first, but apparently this is only going to happen if 4.0 is a failure.... Yawn.....

It should really work over WiFi too. Still I'd rather get the latest version myself over a cheap 4g 3 sim than the cost in time etc to take it to a dealer.
So, has anyone actually got V4 loaded on to their car yet ?
I have asked my local dealer about it and he says they know its in development but to date they have little idea when it will be released.
If anyone has had it successfully installed in a F pace i can push him a bit more, i quite fancy the idea of updating myself, it will save all that travelling back and forth to the dealership.
Thanks
Hi. Not really answering your question but it was installed on my E Pace this week. It seems, touching a lot of wood, a vast improvement on the previous version
So my understanding is that they applied 4.0, found that my 'amp module' was bricked, had to speak to JLR technical and fix that, once that was fix re-applied 4.0, still failed. I think that 4.0 then bricked my whole entertainment system which resulted it in it needing to be replaced. I'll post update later this week when I get my car back (if and when I get more details)
My F-pace went in today for it's first annual service.
I also reported very occasional failure to read the data SIM on boot up. (only happened 3 times in a year but one was for about a week in the winter, temperature related?).
Was surprised to be told late today that they needed the car in overnight to load the latest ICTP System and Nav software (quoted a 4 hour install!).
Now I'm really nervous as the car has been superb since I bought it. Oh well fingers crossed!!
Will report when I have it back.
Dropped mine off last week for a software update from very early version to fix iPhone connectivity and incontrol Apps problems with spotify. Dealer reluctant to upgrade because it is "likely to break everything". Which is what has happened. System bricked. New module required! Hopefully will get it back working with v4. Watch this space....
Re' "Now I'm really nervous as the car has been superb since I bought it. Oh well fingers crossed!!

Just picked up the car and it is now has V4.0 installed.
Looks like I had nothing to worry about.
The main visual change is the coloured pictures on the home pages are replaced with plain text panels. After just one journey I prefer this already.
I always thought the coloured graphic panels were possibly a waste of resources and a bit of a distraction at least for the driver. I chose the "dark theme" for the home pages as the default light one did seem a bit anaemic. Once down in the individual screens e.g. media and nav they do not look at all bland.
What is a very pleasant surprise is the speed of response of the new version it seems to boot up almost instantly and response to touch inputs is also much faster. I haven't explored everything yet but have discovered that I now have "live"media sources. in particular "Tunein radio" and Deezer if I care to open an account. I'm familiar with "Tunein" as I have a Sonos system at home and that includes Tunein. I have also found "podcasts" in the live sources. I saw some reference on the US forum that maybe Apple Carplay is on the way. I'm not bothered by that but maybe with more "live" options we might see Waze a possibility on the main screen in the future?
I found that after the update all my previous NAV favourites both routes and destinations synced instantly when touching the refresh icon in nav.
Also had no trouble listening to my previously stored music library and music on my USB stick that I had left in the vehicle.
No data seems to have been lost at all. Nothing needs to be re-installed.
Dealer said that I had V3 before and the upgrade to V4 went smoothly. He did say that upgrades from earlier versions are often long-winded due to the need to re-install & re-boot several times often with crashes.
Only thing I did find was that to connect to my iPhone via bluetooth I had to "forget" the previous link on the phone and re-pair as a new device.
In summary: I loved the car and ICTP before but V4 seems to have made it noticeably even better.
I saw & had a play with v4.0 on mine today.... Looks a little boring tbh....
Sadly it's unstable on mine, working every other day, so waiting for someone at Jaguar to finish scratching their head....
I wonder if they've simplified it to free up processing power?
