Confirmation in writing from my dealer just now that they have the "comprehensive" update for ICTP and it's going into my car from Monday so will report back!
Oh mine were always just about plain sailing until this one. Ended up with a new ICTP unit which I think is better.JLRnumber5 said:Things might have improved but the various updates I had took anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks!Kowenicki said:I take it I'm being a tad naive... great.JLRnumber5 said::lol:
Sorry that was cruel.
I would say that if it's not broke don't try to fix it.
When did that appear on Topix?Mbadger77 said:Is that the 3.5 07
This update includes the following enhancements to InControl Touch Pro:

- Improvements to the camera system. This is to address concerns relating to the availability of the camera image on screen.

And Siri disappeared also.corriescar66 said:When did that appear on Topix?
It describes quite accurately the problems I've had post 3.0 with my bluetooth/phone, but sadly no mention of the screwed up USB music interface...

P.S. forgot to say, this time I'm not volunteering to go anywhere near first for this update.Jim said:I looked on Topix after your post last night Mbadger and it didn't appear to be listed, looked again this morning and it was at the top of the list
Don't worry guys and girls. Guinea pig here and ready to run headlong in again. Hope to report soon.Jim said:P.S. forgot to say, this time I'm not volunteering to go anywhere near first for this update.Jim said:I looked on Topix after your post last night Mbadger and it didn't appear to be listed, looked again this morning and it was at the top of the list
Yes the sometimes slow startup has become a pain. I mitigate it by using remote start now it's cold and it's fine then as long as you remember.Mightybigdave said:I've had the 3.0 upgrade which cured all the problems I had previously but it has introduced the increased startup time and not remembering last track played on USB stick. It's 6 steps forward and two back.
Perverse as it's sounds, I'm sort of glad you too have USB music problems since the update as up 'till now I've been made to feel it's just me...Mightybigdave said:I've had the 3.0 upgrade which cured all the problems I had previously but it has introduced the increased startup time and not remembering last track played on USB stick. The thread or the TR7?!JLRnumber5 said:^ surely it doesn't need taxing?! ;-)
A TR7 nice. If it's not rusted away well done. Corrie I'll let you know about the update as I'm in tomorrow. Mind you mine is ok apart from the slow start and one or two oddities.corriescar66 said:The thread or the TR7?!JLRnumber5 said:^ surely it doesn't need taxing?! ;-)
ICTP is very taxing, but the TR7 needs a lot more than taxing to be fair......
Like a complete re-build for example...
At least it's electrics are a bit more reliable than the F Pace's........ Even if they are all in boxes currently.....
Ah... Looks great for a 37yr old car from the back.... Just don't look forward of the windscreen!Mbadger77 said:A TR7 nice. If it's not rusted away well done. Just spoke to Harwoods and looking at 3_005_07 on their system it is dated ' January 2017' and not a new one - they are not aware of any update in the last week.....Mbadger77 said:Yes it might be a 3 hr Job but hopefully they can get you in this week. Even if booked up they can squeeze you in or they can request car from,Jag. Hopefully you can speak to somebody at dealer and sort.
